Access to the Eastern side of the Sound grants us opportunities to explore habitat that is home to a strong brown bear population. August is prime time for observing these regal animals fishing for salmon in the streams and drainages.
This trip starts or ends in the port community of Cordova, a small fishing village only accessible by plane or boat. The other end of the trip places guests in Whittier, with private transportation to or from Anchorage.

All meals on board Discovery as well as at Orca Adventure Lodge. Full bar available on Discovery; limited wine selection in Cordova.
Airport transfer in Cordova. Private van transportation to/from Anchorage and the vessel.
